Kuwait Amir Representative receives UN High Commissioner for Refugees
Representative of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah received on Friday UN High Commissioner for Refugees Barham Salih on the sidelines of the 81st UN General Assembly session. The meeting reviewed the humanitarian partnership between Kuwait and the UN Refugee Agency (UNHCR), and discussed ways to enhance the humanitarian response and alleviate the suffering of refugees and displaced persons around the world. The meeting was attended by Minister of Foreign affairs Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Director General of the Kuwait Direct Investment Promotion Authority (KDIPA) Sheikh Dr. Meshal Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Ambassador Mansour Al-Otaibi, Permanent Representative of Kuwait to the UN Ambassador Tareq Al-Bannai, Director of the Office of His Highness the Crown Prince Maj. Gen. Ahmad Al-Duie, and Assistant Foreign Minister for the Minister of Foreign Affairs Office Minister Plenipotentiary Abdullah Nasser Al Obaidi.
