Representing His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah received His Excellency Tarique Rahman, Prime Minister of the friendly People's Republic of Bangladesh, and his accompanying delegation on Friday. The meeting took place at the headquarters of the Permanent Mission of the State of Kuwait to the United Nations in New York, on the sidelines of the high-level week of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly. During the meeting, the two sides discussed bilateral relations between the State of Kuwait and the friendly People's Republic of Bangladesh and ways to develop them in the interest of the two friendly countries and peoples. They also discussed the latest regional and international developments. Also present at the meeting were His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Meshal Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Director General of the Kuwait Direct Investment Promotion Authority; Ambassador Mansour Ayyad Al-Otaibi; Ambassador Tareq Mohammad Al-Banai, Permanent Representative of the State of Kuwait to the United Nations; and Major General Ahmad Abdulrahman Al-Duay, Director of His Highness the Crown Prince's Office.
