Kuwait's Amir Rep receives CEO of GE Vernova
The Representative of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, CEO of GE Vernova Scott Strazik and his accompanying delegation on the sidelines of the 81st UN General Assembly. The meeting, held at Kuwait's Permanent Mission to the United Nations, reviewed ongoing cooperation between Kuwait and the global energy firm, exploring strategies to strengthen strategic partnerships in energy project development and enhance power generation plant efficiency. Discussions covered updates regarding the GE Technology Center in Kuwait, which celebrated its 10th anniversary, underlining the vital role of human resources development, knowledge transfer, and capacity building for national talent to sharpen economic competitiveness and advance Kuwait Vision 2035 goals. The meeting was attended by Director General of the Kuwait Direct Investment Promotion Authority (KDIPA) Sheikh Dr. Meshal Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Ambassador Mansour Al-Otaibi, Permanent Representative of Kuwait to the UN Ambassador Tareq Al-Bannai, and Director of the Office of His Highness the Crown Prince Major General Ahmed Abdulrahman Al-Duai.
