Kuwait Amir Rep. receives NATO chief
The Representative of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah received on Thursday NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte on the sidelines of the high-level 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York. The meeting reviewed the distinguished partnership and cooperation between the State of Kuwait and NATO within the framework of the Istanbul Cooperation Initiative, and the follow-up on training and technical cooperation programs through the NATO Regional Centre in Kuwait, along with developments on regional and international levels. The meeting that took place at the Kuwaiti permanent mission headquarters, was attended by Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Director General of the Kuwait Direct Investment Promotion Authority (KDIPA) Sheikh Dr. Meshal Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Ambassador Mansour Ayyad Al-Otaibi, Assistant Foreign Minister for International Organizations' Affairs Ambassador Tareq Maarafi, Permanent Delegate of the State of Kuwait to the UN Ambassador Tareq Al-Bannai and Assistant Foreign Minister for the Minister's Office Affairs Minister Plenipotentiary Abdullah Al-Obaidi.
