The Representative of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, met Wednesday Syrian President Ahmed Al-Sharaa and his accompanying delegation on the sidelines of the 81st UN General Assembly. At the outset of the meeting, held at Kuwait's Permanent Mission to the United Nations, His Highness the Crown Prince conveyed the greetings of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah to the Syrian president, expressing wishes for good health and for the Syrian Arab Republic and its people to enjoy lasting security, stability, and prosperity. The two leaders discussed fraternal bilateral relations between Kuwait and Syria, exploring avenues to enhance cooperation across various fields to serve mutual interests, alongside exchanging views on key regional and international developments. The meeting was attended by Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Director General of the Kuwait Direct Investment Promotion Authority (KDIPA) Sheikh Dr. Meshal Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Ambassador Mansour Al-Otaibi, Permanent Representative of Kuwait to the UN Ambassador Tareq Al-Bannai, Director of the Office of His Highness the Crown Prince Major General Ahmad Al-Duai, and Assistant Foreign Minister for the Minister's Office Affairs Minister Plenipotentiary Abdullah Al-Obaidi.
