Representative of Kuwait's Amir meets Finnish President
The Representative of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, received Wednesday Finnish President Alexander Stubb and his accompanying delegation on the sidelines of the 81st UN General Assembly. At the outset of the meeting, held at Kuwait's Permanent Mission to the United Nations, His Highness the Crown Prince conveyed the greetings of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, expressing wishes for the President's good health and for the ongoing progress and prosperity of Finland and its friendly people. The two leaders reviewed bilateral relations between Kuwait and Finland, exploring avenues to broaden cooperation across key sectors to serve mutual interests, while also exchanging views on major regional and international developments. The meeting was attended by Minister of Foreign Afffairs Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Director General of the Kuwait Direct Investment Promotion Authority (KDIPA) Sheikh Dr. Meshal Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Ambassador Mansour Al-Otaibi, Permanent Representative of Kuwait to the UN Ambassador Tareq Al-Bannai, and Director of the Office of His Highness the Crown Prince Major General Ahmad Abdulrahman Al-Duai.
