Representative of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah received late Tuesday Goldman Sachs CEO David Solomon and his accompanying delegation at the headquarters of the Kuwait Permanent Mission to the United Nations in New York, on the sidelines of the High-Level Week of the 81st session of the UN General Assembly. Both sides discussed means of strengthening bilateral cooperation, as well as a number of economic and development-related topics and promising investment opportunities in Kuwait. They further discussed investing in national talent to help develop leadership and technical skills and build capable professionals who can keep pace with the rapid changes taking place in the investment and financial markets, along with the latest economic developments at the regional and international levels. The meeting was attended by Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah; Director General of the Direct Investment Promotion Authority (KDIPA) Sheikh Dr. Meshaal Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah; Ambassador Mansour Ayyad Al-Otaibi; Ambassador to the United States Sheikha Al-Zain Sabah Al-Naser Al-Sabah; Permanent Representative to the UN Tareq Mohammad Al-Banai; and Chief of Staff of His Highness the Crown Prince's Office Maj.-Gen. Ahmad Abdulrahman Al-Da'ei.
