The Representative of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah-His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah-met Tuesday with Prime Minister of Pakistan Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif on the sidelines of the 81st session of the UN General Assembly. The two leaders reviewed the robust bilateral relations between Kuwait and Pakistan, exploring mechanisms to deepen joint cooperation across strategic sectors to serve the mutual interests of both nations. During the talks, both sides agreed to establish a formal strategic dialogue co-chaired by their respective foreign ministers, aimed at creating an institutional framework for regular consultation and elevating bilateral ties to broader horizons. The meeting also addressed key agenda items before the UN General Assembly alongside the latest regional and international developments. The meeting was attended by Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Director General of the Kuwait Direct Investment Promotion Authority (KDIPA) Sheikh Dr. Meshal Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Ambassador Mansour Ayyad Al-Otaibi, Permanent Representative of Kuwait to the UN Ambassador Tareq Al-Bannai, and Director of the Office of His Highness the Crown Prince Major General Ahmed Abdulrahman Al-Duai.
