Representative of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah met Tuesday with President of Lithuania Gitanas Nauseda and his accompanying delegation at the UN headquarters in New York. The meeting was held on the sidelines of the high-level week of the 81st session of the UN General Assembly. His Highness conveyed to President Nauseda the greetings of His Highness the Amir and his wishes for good health and further progress and development for Lithuania and its friendly people. The meeting reviewed bilateral relations between Kuwait and Lithuania and explored prospects for cooperation in various fields of mutual interest, in addition to discussing the latest regional and international developments. The meeting was attended by Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Director General of the Kuwait Direct Investment Promotion Authority Sheikh Dr. Meshal Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Ambassador Mansour Al-Otaibi, and Kuwait Permanent Representative to the UN Ambassador Tareq Al-Bannai.
