Representative of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah met Tuesday with President of Latvia Edgars Rinkevics and his accompanying delegation at the UN headquarters in New York. The meeting was held on the sidelines of the high-level week of the 81st session of the UN General Assembly. His Highness conveyed to President Rinkevics the greetings of His Highness the Amir and his wishes for good health and continued progress and prosperity for Latvia and its friendly people. The meeting discussed bilateral relations between Kuwait and Latvia and ways to enhance cooperation in various fields, as well as exchanged views on the latest regional and international developments. The meeting was attended by Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Director General of the Kuwait Direct Investment Promotion Authority Sheikh Dr. Meshaal Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Ambassador Mansour Al-Otaibi, and Kuwait Permanent Representative to the United Nations Ambassador Tareq Al-Bannai.
