The Representative of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah received on Monday some US senior officials at the headquarters of the Kuwait Permanent Mission to the United Nations in New York, on the sidelines of the High-Level Week of the 81st session of the UN General Assembly. The officials welcomed by His Highness the Crown Prince were Khush Choksy, Senior Vice President for International Member Relations and Senior Vice President for the Middle East, Turkiye, and Central Asia at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce; Steve Lutes, Vice President for the Middle East at the Chamber; Lydia Jabs, Executive Director of the U.S.-Kuwait Business Council at the Chamber; Donna Milford, Executive Vice President at State Street and Chair of the U.S.-Kuwait Business Council; and Jenny Johnson, President and Chief Executive Officer of Franklin Templeton. During the meeting, the discussions focused on ways to strengthen economic, trade, and investment relations between Kuwait and the friendly United States of America, along with reviewing investment opportunities in Kuwait for leading U.S. companies and institutions across various vital sectors. The Director-General of the Kuwait Direct Investment Promotion Authority (KDIPA) Sheikh Dr. Meshaal Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Ambassador Mansour Al-Otaibi, Kuwait's Ambassador to the United States Sheikha Al-Zain Sabah Al-Nasser Al-Sabah, Kuwait's Permanent Representative to the UN Ambassador Tareq Al-Banai and the head of His Highness the Crown Prince's office affairs Maj. Gen. Ahmad Al-Daie attended the meeting.
