Kuwait Amir Representative receives European Council chief on sidelines of UN High-Level Week
The Representative of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah received on Monday European Council (EC) President Antonio Costa at the headquarters of the Kuwait Permanent Mission to the United Nations in New York, on the sidelines of the High-Level Week of the 81st session of the UN General Assembly. At the onset of meeting, His Highness the Crown Prince conveyed the greetings of His Highness the Amir to the president, wishing him success, and further development and progress to the friendly peoples of the EU countries. The two sides discussed cooperation and partnership relations between Kuwait and the EU and ways to strengthen them in a manner that serves the mutual interests, along with the latest developments on international and regional arenas. The meeting featured Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, the Director-General of the Kuwait Direct Investment Promotion Authority (KDIPA) Sheikh Dr. Meshaal Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Ambassador Mansour Al-Otaibi, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for International Organization Ambassador Sadiq Marafi, Kuwait's Ambassador to the United States Sheikha Al-Zain Sabah Al-Nasser Al-Sabah and Kuwait's Permanent Representative to the UN Ambassador Tareq Al-Banai.
