The Representative of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah met on Monday with the President of the friendly Republic of Turkiye Recep Tayyip Erdogan, at the headquarters of the Turkish Permanent Mission to the United Nations in New York, on the sidelines of the High-Level Week of the 81st session of the UN General Assembly. During meeting, His Highness the Crown Prince conveyed the greetings of His Highness the Amir to the Turkish President, along with his wishes for his continued good health and for the friendly Republic of Turkiye and its people permanent progress and prosperity. The two sides discussed the close bilateral relations between Kuwait and Turkiye, as well as ways to strengthen and develop them across various fields in a manner that serves the interests of the two countries and their friendly peoples. They also discussed regional and international developments and issues of mutual interest. The meeting featured Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, the Director-General of the Kuwait Direct Investment Promotion Authority (KDIPA) Sheikh Dr. Meshaal Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Ambassador Mansour Al-Otaibi, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for International Organization Ambassador Sadiq Marafi and Kuwait's Permanent Representative to the UN Ambassador Tareq Al-Banai.
